Pudong Office Holds Symposium on Waigaoqiao Port “Three ones” Work

On October 15, 2013, Zhang Chaomei, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Office of Port Service, attended the Symposium on “Three Ones” Work for Cooperation between Customs and Inspection and Quarantine Authority in Waigaoqiao Port, led by the Pudong Office, at Waigaoqiao. Ye Chao presided over the symposium and Huang Jingwei was invited on behalf on the Department of Customs Clearance Coordination. At the symposium, Dai Jianzhong, Deputy Director of Waigaoqiao Port Customs, Yu Qiurong, Deputy Head of Waigaoqiao Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine, and responsible persons of relevant functional departments conducted in-depth discussion on the basic promotion situation of “Three Ones” and the problems needed to be resolved in the future. At last, Zhang Chaomei, on behalf of Shanghai Municipal Office of Port Service, thanked the Waigaoqiao frontline port inspection units for their support for the work of Shanghai port, and put forward new ideas and requirements toward the next step of deepening cooperation in customs clearance and inspection and toward the “one-off check” of authentic boxes of non-special commodities unloaded within the port.
