Notes: ① The total value of export and import goods through Shanghai ports in the first half of the year accounts for 27.1% of the nation’s total of US$2,020.86 billion. ② The goods handling capacity of Shanghai’s shipping ports accounts for 51.2% of the city port’s total of 382.878 million tons; the container throughput of Shanghai’s shipping ports accounts for 86.2% of the city’s total of 17.263 million TEUs. ③ The cargo throughput of Shanghai’s air ports accounts for 78.7% of the city’s total airborne cargo throughput of 1.691 million tons, while the number of exit-entry passengers through the air ports accounts for 32.0% of the city’s total air passenger throughput of 43.229 million people. ④ The so-called “international ships through Shanghai exit-entry ports” refer to international ships that go through exit-entry procedures in Shanghai Municipal office of Port Services or those that undergo such procedures in the country’s other ports but fulfill exit-entry through Shanghai ports.
