Shanghai Songjiang Export Processing Zone-Zone B, founded under the approval of the State Council on March 14, 2003, is located in the Western part of Songjiang District. It has a planning area of 3 square kilometers and neighbors to Songjiang New City and Songjiang University Town Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway Tongjiang-Sanya Highway
Shanghai Songjiang Export Processing Zone-Zone B attaches importance to the growth of export-oriented enterprises for IC industry and export-oriented hi-tech enterprises. The export processing zone takes a totally-enclosed management pattern and provides completed supporting services to enterprises, including customs service, commodity inspection, taxation, industrial and commercial administration, banks, foreign trade, transportation and customs declaration. Enterprises could complete all import and export procedures conveniently in the processing zone. So far, it only takes 4 hours to complete customs clearance and logistics for commodities in the zone, the same time as those developed countries need.
